Our names are Luke and Claire, we are from Melbourne, Australia. During the lockdown of 2020 we decided to use the many spare hours we had at home to try and create something exciting and new!

We wanted to create our own clothing brand that captured the way we both enjoyed our lives. Whether that be at the beach, snow or just cruising through the weekend with mates. Our aim is to create a clothing brand that is timeless and casual but still looks smart on the street. From these ideas we wanted the brand to represent us, and who we are as much as possible, and from that Maybe Later was created.

The name Maybe Later stems from how we tend to react to daily chores, with our most common response being “Maybe Later”. Which is really a cheeky backhander at our parents who, as most teenagers will agree, are always asking us to do things.

Our Maybe Later brand finally came to life in December 2020 with our first product release of Hoodies in February 2021. Based upon how well initial sales went we had plans to broaden our clothing brand. After an extended period of time we are finally happy to announce our new wave of Maybe Later products in 2023.

Maybe Later also helps us to support a cause which is very important to us. A proportion of each sale of a Maybe Later product goes towards Dementia Australia. We decided to support Dementia Australia because our Nan was suffering with Dementia. She was very close to us and we thought we could use Maybe Later as a platform to help support Dementia Australia.

Above is a picture of our Nan (Bev Batty) who passed away earlier this year. Recent years have been extremely challenging not only on her, but the rest of the family as well, who all came together to support Nan and each other. We are happy that with your support from purchasing a Maybe Later product we can continue to donate to a cause close to us.
